Advertisments

I understand that the ads are a part of the revenue for LFG, but please space them out more, maybe one and hour or so, because I just got 2 ads in 10 minutes. That will drive people away from the site in my opinion.

Hi, I’m a mod on 4 channels, and it is annoying and useless for us to see them. There are times when DJs will try to communicate over the mic to the mods to get them to do things important to the channel and the stream. Mods also help DJs in other ways, like monitoring the stream itself for elements that are missing or are not functioning correctly. I do understand that we can pay for a subscription to the channel to view it ad-free. Some mods can’t afford to pay for a subscription, and some DJs can’t afford to give those mods a gift subscription every month. This is why mods should be given ad-free access to the channels they mod

    Hello,

    Thank you for your feedback.

We are testing ads and will adjust accordingly.

    Thank you.

You will get an ad within the 1st 3 minutes, then it's every 10 minutes after that. That is worse than streamers on other platforms who ad you to death for revenue. A pop up ad that doesn't interfere with the stream is fine, or a banner ad, but I don't think the answer is that turbo feature, it's too new of a platform.

Maybe have the streamer pay an amount to make sure they are ad free, 5 dollars or 10 a month, and you can say… we are ad free?

I am also fine with a “turbo” subscription for the platform →

need to come up with a better way to not interrupt the music stream and yes im getting a lot of ads too very frequent. Make them silent ads and if user wants to hear it they can click on it. Need to get creative and come up with a better solution for the ads.

yes, i noticed a lot of ads during my 2hr stream today - well it seemed a lot :). maybe ramp them up gradually, or shorter ones, or more spaced out. i also understand the need, but they are music streams after all, and many viewers will listen while lurking at work..
