I would like to know if there will ever be access to channel chat as I would like to develop some games and other things that could draw people into chat. Will this be available?
Thanks for your question. This answer is two-fold.
We are still building out core functionality for LFG that is critical for all user experience. We fully understand the importance and need for app integration and it is on our schedule for future version releases.
Additionally, we are not prepared at this time, so early in our launch and development to grant access to our API but we plan to offer access in the future.
