This feature is for our User’s/Viewers experience. Viewers want to know what it being played and have the option to automatically add to their playlist of their streaming platform of choice (Spotify/Deezer) or be able to download the song directly from Beatport, when available. This User experience cannot be achieved with Now Playing or not having the Song ID section displayed.

As someone who streams music with a NOW PLAYING already in my overlay, I find it just one more thing to take up space as well and most of the time it’s just flat out wrong anyway. Would love to see a toggle switch to make this option go away.
