I’m enjoying the platform and I understand there are a few bugs to sort out.
The one thing I have found is the delay in the stream, this is more than 30 seconds. This is especially apparent when finishing a stream as it will cut off immediately as soon as I have stopped broadcasting from my end.
I am using Prism TBH, but that shouldn’t be the issue, also running at 6000 Kbs is far too glitchy when I have streamed no issue at 2400 Kbs on Twitch and YouTube.

    Keep in mind that Twitch and YouTube have servers all over the world and peering agreements with providers, which is going to make it easier for them to deliver low latency streams across the globe. LFG is cool, but they ain’t got Google or Amazon money.

    Also, 6000 is pretty high. I am on a very fast fiber connection, but I never push my video bitrate over 4000. You just start to get diminishing returns and some viewers might be on really bad internet connections which will cause dropouts. I do record at a much higher bitrate for my podcasts/talk shows, but that’s so I have the highest quality source material to work with when I go to edit.

      Totally understand about the servers.
      The test stream I did Sunday was fine at 2400, I did watch the LFG TV setup video on YouTube and followed that, TBH I thought it was high but went with it.
      I’m reverting back now anyway.
      The stream delay was the same on Sunday.
      I’m all in with the platform as I believe in it as the future of DJing.
      Teething problems will always be there with a new roll out.

    Hello. It is difficult for us to pinpoint your issue due to the amount of factors involved including your personal internet connection speed. In our experience the typical delay can be no more than 15 seconds. Other factors include geographical location but more importantly, multi-streaming can also ad lag.

    If you are streaming on other platforms at 2400 kbs without issue, we might suggest you do the same on LFG.TV
