Need Ad Manager

As of yesterday, I'm being bombarded with ads, even in my own channel. We need a way to adjust and preferably disable the ads. A one-time preroll is acceptable, but every 10 minutes is excessive. I would prefer not to burden my viewers with ads. This is one nice thing about Twitch’s ad setup that gives the streamer flexibility to make that choice if they so wish. I get this is not twitch, however they do some things right like their chat and ad management. Ads should also be disabled for the streamer in their own channel. If this is going to be tied to the access pass then grant the streamers a life long access pass to their own channle or something simple. Thank you for the consideration.

Advertisments

I understand that the ads are a part of the revenue for LFG, but please space them out more, maybe one and hour or so, because I just got 2 ads in 10 minutes. That will drive people away from the site in my opinion.

Central calendar for all streamers

Problem from the viewer's perspective: You've found a few channels you like, but you don't know when the next stream is scheduled or whether there are regular broadcast times. Problem from the streamer's perspective: You want to inform your viewers about regular broadcast times and any individual cancellations (!) in this series. You want to inform your viewers about special dates. Challenge for both: The time difference and the different world time formats. Solution: a) Streamer There is a calendar where streamers can enter dates. Fields: Date (individual dates and series of dates) -> For series of dates, it is helpful to have corresponding functions (daily, weekly, monthly, every 1st/2nd/3rd/4th/5th weekday per month),... Title (title of the program/series) Free text field (information about the program) Start date (date/time of planned start) -> The following would be ideal: LFG knows the user making the entry because they are logged in and therefore also knows which time zone they (generally) stream from. If necessary, such a field could also be queried in the general channel settings. The streamer specifies the start date from the perspective of their time zone (example: UTC+2 7:00 pm). End date (optional entry for the planned end: day/time) Link (optional for further information) b) Viewers Viewers can display the cumulative data of the streamers (channels). By default, all currently running programs are displayed, sorted by genre (with the planned end time displayed if applicable). This is similar to classic online TV guides. You can scroll the timeline to the right to see the later hours in the future. Special feature(!): The date and time are already converted to their time zone (according to the zone stored in their profile)! Functions: (serarch)Filter (LFG music genres (Afro, Chill, House, etc.), timeline (show me programs from date/time), program duration (show all streams with a duration greater/less than XXX minutes), etc.) Reminder function (you can mark individual programs in the calendar and send yourself a reminder (email/SMS/chat message, etc.). (Note: I would also like to see such a reminder function at the channel level for viewers, so that they can mark their favorite channels as such). Possible future functions: Individual recording of programs (similar to online TV recorders) which are then available for xx days (may be subject to a fee!) Such a calendar could be a unique selling point for LFG.TV! And... to be honest, it is extremely important for the usability of a 24-hour global live streaming service. Best regards and continued success! Norbert (House Sound of Hamburg, HSH-lab)

@DJIntensity1200 still can't be raided

It’s been about 30 days, so here’s an update: Nothing has changed as of yet. This issue is making it very difficult to grow our channel on @LFG.TV Our community has been trying to support us and ALL incoming raids are failing. We now have begun to have difficulty with outbound raids as well. Stream lag

I’m enjoying the platform and I understand there are a few bugs to sort out. The one thing I have found is the delay in the stream, this is more than 30 seconds. This is especially apparent when finishing a stream as it will cut off immediately as soon as I have stopped broadcasting from my end. I am using Prism TBH, but that shouldn’t be the issue, also running at 6000 Kbs is far too glitchy when I have streamed no issue at 2400 Kbs on Twitch and YouTube.

Popouts

I imagine this is already in the works, but I’d like very much to be able to pop out my chat (and possibly a stats window of some kind?) so i don’t have to have my stream window open. My streaming desktop is very powerful, but alas the laptop I use to monitor everything in the “booth” is a bit wimpy. Thanks! Muah!

Follower notifications

I think we need some kind of notification system, whether it be text in chat or an external noise for different things. I want to be more interactive with my chat, so when I see over 20 people watching, I want to engage with them, and if any of them follow, I currently have no idea. I want to thank them and start a conversation with them
